    Best lifespan for Quail?

Mainly because females can get sick a lot due to the fact they lay quiet often, I’ve seen a few small male flocks before do ok as long as they are well attended too.

    Best lifespan for Quail?

Hi there! I am thinking of getting some male quail purely for keeping as pets. I wondered which quail species has the best lifespan? Or if they tend to all live about the same? Thanks for any info!

    See nothing on day 5

I was thinking that I should be seeing some veining by now from reading up about development. I’ll give it another go day 7 in case. Think I may have waited too long from laying to incubation as it was a shipped egg.

    See nothing on day 5

Hi guys, I’m new to incubating. So I’m not really noticing anything in my egg. I’m thinking maybe it’s not viable? The photo is today on day 5, I can’t tell much difference. Is this egg not viable? Should I leave it longer? Many thanks.

    Help with candling

Hi guys, I’m new to candling, my egg has been incubating for 3 days and looks like this. Is this normal? I can’t see any veins or anything but the dark patch is very large.
