Update , I have one baby that is looking like a spangled version of a barred rock and the rest is black that is out of the Lavender Ameraucana and Cream Legbar
Travis, he is one of three Lavender Amarucanas I have and every time I enter the pen he fly’s up for a free ride and loves to crow in my ear, the last pic he seen his self in my iPhone and got all excited and of course started crowing ? He’s like a toddler demanding my attention .
Thanks , making some really interesting babies ! All had hatched black showing a little rust leaking out and blue leaking around head? Time will tell! I will be posting pics as soon as they show me what the future looks like
So I crossed a lavender Ameraucana rooster which has the black gene over a cream legbar which we all know was made using barred rock, to what percentage I have now ideal - all my babies that just hatched are looking like little barred rocks? You think this means all male? I hatched 11 babies
