The Imported English Jubilee Orpington Thread

Well my friend after researching your correction to my statement we will have to agree to disagree. I have found, after reading some literature and consulting with some breeders, there is no difference between a Diamond Jubilee and a Jubilee Orp. I did not say there are not color variations...

The Palomino really isn't even a color. It was something Dan Powell created when he was after the buff laced. Theres nothing to define it properly as its project in origin. Palomino is a horse color! LOL

    Brahma /Lemon Blue Cochin cross

Hiya, actually lemon and blue is not a good color combo. The blue will look like a mess against the yellow and it's hard to get back to lemon after you mix the colors. I made this suggestion to another member who was trying to breed lemon and blue. Not a good genetic choice. :)

    Blue Laced Brahmas

I wouldn't recommend doing a lemon and blue together. After first generation chicks if anyone would want a lemon you would never get rid of the blue it would be washed all over the lemon. Genetics just don't work for that project.

That's what I was thinking as well. Def a mixed bird def gold laced and probably a buff in as well. If it's hatchery it's probably not a project bird just a result of having all their stuff mixed together.

The Imported English Jubilee Orpington Thread

LOL there is no such thing as a Diamond Jubilee. A Diamond Jubilee is a Jubille is a Jubilee. The "Diamond" was a marketing scheme developed to hype the Jubilee Orpington using the Queens Diamond Jubilee as a launch pad. There is no difference between a Jubilee Orpington and a Diamond Jubilee...
