My husband and I are new chicken owners here in northern Wisconsin and were wondering what types of snakes to keep an eye out for that would pose a threat to stealing our eggs. So far, we have only seen garters, ringnecks and brown.

So adorable 🥰 I am learning that we have 1 Australorp rooster in our first batch and in our second batch we have 3. The hen's tail feathers come in first while the roos still have fuzzy rumps 😊
I apologize for the question that has been asked thousands of times, but I am still learning to navigate this forum. We have 10 chicks all around the same age of 3 1/2-4 1/2 weeks old and one has no tail feathers. Is it too soon to know whether or not it may be a roo or pullet?
We have a few that are a little over 4 weeks and a few a little over 3 weeks. Thanks to this group, I was able to figure out why one of our Australorps has no tail feathwrs and all the others have theirs. 😊 It's a boy🎉🥳 🤣
