My husband grew up having chickens. When we lived with my in-laws to help with their care, my mother-in-law bought chickens for our kids. This is the first time my husband and I have owned chickens for ourselves and it has been fun learning together, but we still have questions. I am looking forward to learning more along the way on this new journey for our family.

We have a few that are a little over 4 weeks and a few a little over 3 weeks. Thanks to this group, I was able to figure out why one of our Australorps has no tail feathwrs and all the others have theirs. 😊 It's a boy🎉🥳 🤣

Tail feathers don't mean much at these ages.
