Thank so much for the reply. The other hens definitely gobbled it up I saw that. It had color but I am asassuming it was the membrane. It was like a thick string. She seem to be ok. Eating, drinking and running around like the rest.

I don't know about the poop butt, but it looks like that might be the breed he is with the tail issue. In my opinion I don't think that's a problem. I have seen other breeds like that that look similar. Sorry can't help more with the poop issue.
