Thank you. As soon as I read it, I started researching. I really hope not. I'm not looking to eat them. Just their eggs. 😁 Also my Daughter's are attached to them. My EE's and these Beauties are spoiled.
I have 2, 5 week old pullet chicks . Was told they're Delaware. But only one has a single black dot on its left wing. Also one is bigger. Possibly just fluff. Can anyone verify they're Delaware. They're feed store chicks and I'm relatively new to being a mother hen. Learning my babies as I get...
Not my chickens. But he feeds them scratch with a layer mixed together. We don't know the breed. He was given these by a family member that is no longer living.
I have a 6 week old chick. No clue the breed or sex. The hens and Roo to this chick are all black with red combs. I'll attach a picture of chick and possible mothers.
I know. Thank you. 😊 I should have explained that I kept Spidey with the younger chick because of Spidey's affection for it. I originally had 5 chicks.
I took the brother to my cousins farm, and kept Spidey because I'm fostering a chick of my cousins. Spidey is super close to this chick. (Chick is male) Is this normal behavior for an EE roo? They are 9 weeks and a couple of days old now.
Thank you all. I have thought they were Males too. Spidey is way more timid and doesn't really have the beard. I want to hold hope Spidey is female but if not I'll still love him. ❤️ Just means I'll have to likely give one away.😔🥺
