just a suggestion - some vets keep tetracycline for dogs and cats - they might be willing to sell you a pack of the powdered kind. Also I forgot when I stand at the sink with the chick I let it's feet stand on an old washcloth that is draped over the edge of the sink. they seem to drink...

sick hen will NOT eat or drink, techniques for force feeding?

I put boiled egg pieces in Medicated Water to Encourage them to drink

It seems to work great - just the whites though, not the yolks. In a shallow clear glass bowl, our four-week old babies "fish" for the pieces of boiled egg - often they "miss" and take several gulps of water before they get a piece of the food. I have to hold the bowl steady with one hand...

Can I give QUICK CHICK Booster WITH TETRACYCLINE?

baby chicks are on tetracycline in their water and I would like to add their quick chick booster stuff in the water with the antibiotic but wasn't sure if the ingredients in the quick chick would render the antibiotic ineffective. I know when you are on certain meds you are not supposed to eat...
