    I have a similar issue, where my (imprinted on me) Muscovy duckling is crying. Wether she's on my lap, on the table facing me, or on my shoulder, she's constantly crying. I can cover her with my hand and she'll calm down a little. But should I be concerned she has a health issue?

    So now it just looks like a dried up placenta. It's kinda protruding, but otherwise it's closed up and the bird looks very happy and healthy.

    At the beginning of hatching, there was a bit of blood inside and it was really weak. When it came out, the umbilical cord was still bleeding and the whole navel was puffed up and there was gunk everywhere. I stopped the bleeding and let it rest in the incubator. Internet said it was a hernia...
