Unless the OP ha a home insurance endorsement that covers economic loss for a business venture, her own home policy will be a dead end... most policies exclude businesses of any kind, no matter how small. And by bringing it to the attention of her insurance company, she may cause her company to...
Speaking of crickets, my next project (I have a list a mile long so it may not be "next") is trying my hand at breeding mealworms and crickets. It looks super easy to do mealworms, I need to watch more cricket breeding on YouTube before I move forward with them. has anyone on here ever tried either?
The chicks are doing great, feathering out nicely now. I have them split into two groups of 13, one group I am keeping, the other is being split by 4mybcs and another friend. Each group is in a 3 by 5 brooder pen and while they have plenty of room still, I am planning on moving my group to...
If she is unable to pay the amount to restore your flock and repurchase a donkey comparable to your donkey (similar age etc), she may have homeowners insurance that would cover this for her. Personal liability is designed for this sort of thing. You should not "profit" from the situation, but...

I know where CAL Ranch is but I have never shopped there, I want to go check it out some time. Also there is a hispanic feed store in North LV that has really good prices but I have never shopped there either
The closest feed store to you is Sunset Saddlery off Sunset/Boulder Highway, but be careful with the feed that you buy because sometimes it is quite old. Livestock feed, dog food ... always check the sale by date! They often run specials on their old food, but buyer beware! They also keep a...
Barb I will message you if I hear of any younger pullets, I've had bad luck with people not being truthful with me when buying full grown stock which is why I prefer to raise my own, so be cautious! No way to know if a hen is 6 months or 6 years (that I know of anyway!)
I haven't read all of the posts in this very large thread so apologize if this was answered, but has anyone with dove problems used this? I was thinking that if it was placed at the right height, with a long enough "throat", that the doves couldn't get feed out of it ... any thoughts?
