Im so sorry your hen is feeling under the weather! It sounds a lot like when one of my chickens had impacted crop. Does her crop feel hard/firm?

Penguin is a Silver Spangled Hamburg-and so is the rooster. I will see if I have the full-sized version of my 2nd Entry-thank you for letting me know it is too small to judge!

Thank you so much... it WAS a slipped tendon, I had not thought of that or seen that in my research. we're treating her now. Don't know if she'll make it though:(. But she's a fighter!!
