    NOT A Cream Legbar

Now I’ve come across pictures of Silver Welbar, Silver Dorking, and silver leghorn. Now to figure out which of these, this one may be!

Thoughts on #1 being a Silver Welbar?

Would you say this one is a cream legbar? It is about 22 weeks now.

Here are two more of this little one. It definitely doesn’t stand up to any of the other chicks. Very passive. #2 is the top of the pecking order and laying pastel green eggs.

Adding : #1 and #5 are the only ones who don’t squat when petting them. Here’s another shot of #6 maybe you can see her feathers a tad bit better here?

I purchased all of these from my local feed store (except for #2 got this one from a TSC exchange labeled Easter egger). From what I can remember buying, they were labeled as “Naked Neck”, “Olive egger”, “Buff Orpington”, “White/Blue Silkie”, “White Leghorn” and “Cream Legbar”. From what I...

What about these chicks leads you to believe they are all cockerels?

I didn’t want to order from a hatchery online because our temps are really high.

TSC just came to town three years ago. Put our old feed store out of business with the pandemic. It’s about an hour and 15 minute drive to a feed store outside of this area that isn’t a corporation.

My thoughts exactly. The other four were listed as all pullets but now they’re all cockerels 😣.

I’m out cleaning their brooders. They are quite camera shy. I’m betting that there is at least one cockerel here. 🤣

Thank you! I had an account years ago but can’t remember what email I had it under 😩. I was doing all my studying before we actually got them, then the pandemic hit and we shut down (or at least I did, being home with the 8 kids)

Oh no, I started out with 4 and lost one. I was hoping the other two were pullets because we can’t have roos per HOA. 😔. We picked up 4 more straight runs (2 EEs and 2 bantams). What are the chances I get 3 cockerels out of the 4 listed pullets?

A look back at when we first brought them home. Still full of fluff.

We purchased these lovely “pullets” on 3/24/22 from TSC. Two were listed as Easter Egger pullets and one was listed as lavender wyandotte pullet. Only one has began to crow (wonder if you can guess which one). This one also picks on our 3 week old chicks we have as well. Do I have two...
