Meyer green queen hen x white Silkie roo

What are Meyer green queens a cross of? This little roo (i think) hatched a little over 2.5 months ago and his coloring is just so interesting to me! These are the best pics I could take at the moment.

    HELP!

So I had 2 broody silkies that were sitting on 7 eggs between the two of them. 6/7 have hatched between yesterday morning and this morning. The 7th egg must have been a day or so behind. Both hens left the nest and the lonely 7th egg was just sitting there by itself. I decided to try and save it...

    Scissor beak

I hatched some babies about three weeks ago. This baby (Silkie x green queen) has seemed to develop scissor beak. I have just now noticed it and it’s been eating and drinking fine. My question is, how do I treat this going forward? I’ve never dealt with this before.

What would make my girl stop laying?

A little back story, she’s about 7.5 months old. She started laying a little over a month ago. I haven’t gotten any eggs from her in 2 weeks (she’s my only white egg layer), what could be causing this? All of my research has suggested it may be stress related but nothing has changed. She’s an...

Was this supposed to be an egg?

They started laying this past Tuesday and it was a complete shock. I’m still trying to figure which ones are laying them 😅

Was this supposed to be an egg?

So was this supposed to be an egg? Or what? I have 6 silkies and 3 other hens. I thought the silkies were all Roos but the other day I went out and found two creamy pinkish eggs (I’ll post a picture of them, one was a double Yorker) well today I find this curly Q thing that I’m assuming was...

Silkie rooster vs. exchequer leghorn hen

The last time I seen it, she squatted down to let him but he didn’t he just continued to peck at her head. She doesn’t seem to have any injuries but her head is going bald. They free range most of the day, and their coop is 10x12 and their run is 10x20. There’s only 8 of them. She has plenty of...

Silkie rooster vs. exchequer leghorn hen

I seem to be having a problem with my Silkie rooster picking on my exchequer leghorn hen. He doesn’t hurt the other hens but if he sees this one in particular he will peck her on her head and eyeballs and chase her around the yard. Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior? Or is there a...

I need help identifying these breeds

I got 8 baby chicks from tractor supply yesterday and can’t remember for the life of me what they were supposed to be. I know one was Orpington and I think it’s the buff. I feel like there was austrolorps in the same bin as the orpingtons but I can’t remember exactly but I got 3 of each of...

    Is she an exchequer leghorn?

I got her from meyers. She is about 3.5 months and she was a in one of the mixed hen categories ( I can't remember the actual name for it) but I have never figured out her breed for certain. I'm thinking she's an exchequer leghorn. p.s. I just really love the second picture lol. Also, if she is...

Is my green queen for sure a queen?

I just want to make sure my green queen is really a girl. She’s always been bigger than the others and she’s constantly breaking up fights between my younger silkies.

    Silkie gender?? 4 weeks old

I hatched 8 silkies, they’re about 4.5 weeks old and I think I have all roosters😅😅. I know it’s way to early to tell for sure butttttt it’s fun to guess. I’ve labeled each picture with a color to indicate pictures of the same bird. I’m almost certain purple is a roo. P.s. these were the best...
