It's the wyandottes I need help with. Are any of them female? Rhere is one that isn't red looking, its some shade of pink. Could that one be female? The two speckled sussex look like they have church tails, and when there was 7 or them these 6 developed tails way quicker then the baby that passed away. The deceased baby was part barred rock x bsl. They are supposed to be girls but they came from TSC, so who knows. I already have a rooster...- Arukei22

Over-mating rooster
I have the same problem going on, I think. Except I have 8 hens, 5 adults and three almost 4 months old. It was supposed to be 4 young ones, but one turned out to be a rooster. I already have a slightly older rooster and he seems to do fine around every girl but Georgia. Georgia is a buckeye...- Arukei22

Need help again
Thanks. I got them as 6 six week old babies and was hoping to have four additional girls to my 5 hens. I put my slightly older barred rock rooster in with them when they were smaller, and at the moment all of them seem to get along. My big girls and Rock (megaman) the barred rock hang together...- Arukei22

What is this black bird? The second picture is clearly a female right? They are both supposed to be female and they are the Amercana chickens. Any help would be appreciated. I already have a barred rock rooster and wanna know if I missed something here.- Arukei22

It's the barred rock I am unsure of. The big bird on the ground in the first picture is Wiley the hen. The other pictures of black birds are my birds I raised last year 4 reference. Wiley doesn't like Rock, but I believe Rock hopped on Georgia for a half second. If I got another hen so be it...- Arukei22

They were from a batch I purchased at our local general store. But if the other four are all female than that's not so bad. I was just waiting for them to get bigger to truly know if they were male or female.- Arukei22
