That's what we thought too! But we only had the two birds (the peacock and the hen) and she became broody...so we just let her do her thing and 3 chicks hatched! They basically look like her coloring and a peacock body. They make the strangest noise also!

Hi there! We actually have 2 of these Chicken/Peacock hybrids! They just turned 2 years old. I ended up making a Youtube video to explain their story and show what they look like. Mom is a black Australorp and dad is Indian blue peacock.
