I’m sad to report she has diarrhea again! Her poops have not been super solid but today watery again! i feel so bad for her she just not herself .. Can it be the molt just kicking her ass?
Update on Darla!! No Diarrhea under the roost where she slept!! The rice and yogurt did what is was intended to do!! She looks great other than the feather loss from her molt .. i’m soo happy she’s doing better .. thank you again to everyone who took the time to give their advice and help!! This...
She’s is close to the bottom of the pecking order if not the last one .. she will gladly steel food and run for her life though lol .. she does seem to follow my two leghorns around (top of the pecking order) and so whatver they do .. it’s very cute!! we call her a punk rocker bc she always...
it’s definitely possible she got the epsom salt in her mouth .. she’s a bit wild and i wouldn’t be surprised if she tried to drink it lol .. she’s going soo much .. i can hear it shoot out from the other room!! she’s drinking lots of water too i’m sure all the pooping is making her feel...

is it possible it’s actually diarreah .. now that she’s been inside a while she seems fine other than the pooping .. she’s standing upright not poofed out at all and i realize the spot i was touching was her butt bone the rest of her bottom is soft .. she did just spit up on my a little bit...

i have her inside now!! she’s eating a drinking no issue .. she’s has diarrhea .. pretty much just liquid .. 3 times since i’ve brought her in a little over an hour ago .. she’s had diarrhea for a few days but i assumed it was bc she’s molting but could i be wrong? what else should i be looking for
i’m not 100% sure but her bottom does feel kinda hard .. is there another reason she would ne standing like this? she definitely not herself .. she usually my wild child
My poor Darla is going through a molt .. and is now egg bound .. i already gave her an epsom salt bath but when i blow dry her so many feathers are coming out .. is that bad?? it’s cold where i am so i don’t want her getting sick too
the egg feels like it is rotated sideways!! is that so bad...
I noticed this little scab on my Leghorns belly!! is it something i should worry about? we are battling a pretty tough case of bumble foot on her .. does this mean it’s spreading?
i do have antibiotics left over from her sisters vet visit for bumble foot (before i knew how to handle it myself)...
it doesn’t work .. she shakes her head so hard i can’t even get syringe near her mouth .. we tried for 30 minutes and jsut spilled an entire dose everywhere
we tried that!! she shakes her head uncontrollable if one of us tries to open her mouth .. and she’s a very docile bird, she layed on my lap for 45 minutes while we worked on her foot no problem .. but she won’t let us near her mouth
Stella had to take a trip to the vet. There was no kernel in her infected foot and she needs to take antibiotics but i can not get her to take it!! She won’t let me open her mouth, i soaked it onto bread and she ate a little and refused the rest. I even scooped the center of blueberries (her...
the previous home owners did leave a lot of glass buried in the garden boxes .. i’m thinking maybe she hit a piece .. i did a thorough cleaning of it today to make sure!! i have one last question though. Can she free range once her foot is all wrapped and can i allowed her back in with the coop...
sorry so many questions this is just new to me and im so worried!! do i have to remove all the scabs? do you want to see pictures? i only know the scabs are there bc i looked

ventilation in the coop is good!! we use coop clean (it’s a straw and pine shavings) we completely remove all the bedding and replace with fresh every 2-3 days .. but we throw more bedding down everyday!! The run is the same .. they usually move all the bedding out of the way to expose the dirt...
