Hello MM, we are almost neighbors!
I think you will be fine integrating them now--expecially considering the numbers. When integrating a younger group, sheer numbers really helps. You are integrating 22 into a group of 16.
I would also think that the pullets should be big enough at...
You have a beautiful trio of EEs there! Their coloring is gorgeous--I bet you will have a waiting list if you choose to sell their eggs for hatching! If I were in the market for EE eggs, I'd buy!!!
It is looking more like a boy, but it started out very pullet-ish. My other Rock boys were very obvious to me.
This is a 7-week-old, and any input is appreciated. Tomorrow all the boys are going to a guy in the country.
I have some 5-week-old cockerals that need new homes. One Blue Rock, from halo's flock, and several Black Ameraucanas from shaffer's flock. The blacks have the split-lavendar gene. $5 each, for pickup only.
OOPS! Just realized that I posted this in the wrong section!

The males will usually start getting a wider, redder comb. Often they will have heavier, thicker legs. It may take up to 7 weeks--they can really fool you. Ask me! I changed...
I am really impressed with your Delawares, Cyn. They are just gorgeous!!! It's not gonna be easy to pick your #1 Hunk, is it?
Not that you could make a bad choice with the boys you have now!
I agree your hen is just gorgeous! I just love broodies. It is also the most worry-free way to raise chicks.
Congratulations! My 2 EEs usually go broody at the beginning of summer, so I've got something to look forward to!
How cool!
I'm kind of superstitious like you, but if she's made up her mind, there's not much that is going to jinx her off that nest!
Good luck and have fun!!!
