I think the last time I was in here was in 2012 or 2015...
Everyone migrated over to fb and recently someone brought this site up and I got curious to see who was still around!
When I mount my eggs on the kabob sticks I use a pinch of that removable wall putty (Scotch makes it) to hold them on. I usually have a smaller hole on the small end of the egg, so the egg won't fall all the way down the stick, but if it does, I'll put a bit of putty on the bottom of the egg to...

I would ask 10 or 15 a piece for them.
Haven't we had a fabulously beautiful fall! I let the chickies out into the garden this morning and they're having a good time scratching around. Too soon it'll be covered in snow...but for now the sun is shining down on brown piles of leaves...
Hello from Anchorage! I hope everyone has been doing well and is getting ready for the winter! Look at me, on the BYC when I should be working...or something. This autumn has been spectacular, has it not?

The air compressor is one I keep in my car for emergencies, lol...
That sounds good. Is there a specific brand you use or prefer over others? I was told that brushing on bar lacquer would make the eggs almost indestructible, but it's like a two part epoxy and very messy.
A little history...
Last year, around October, I stumbled across this thread and started reading. I got up into the 70's pages and stopped. I made some pretty eggs to send out as Christmas presents, and I think people liked them Anyway, I 'm going at it again and might have to read up where...
I've found that a portable air compressor set at the lowest setting works for me. I use a thumbtack to chip a hole on either end...a small one at the top and a larger one on the bottom. After carefully scrambling with a metal skewer, I insert the needle used for blowing basketballs and such...
