    Ummm . Okay, well temp is usually 17-30 degrees . Coop is surrounded by straw to buffet the wind. We have a heater made for the coop. Right now they have some feathers beginning . The coop is not big enough space within it to stay inside for days. We joined to cages and need to cut the divider...

    This is make shift inside cage . They can be out side with no feathers ?

    What about the exposed skin? They go outside during the day and it is cold. We have 2 coops put together we need to take the divider out … they have no protection from the cold .. so keep them inside the coop?

    I just read that green potato pealing should not be give and they are toxic could this have caused this ? They keep peeking on each other …. In the basement, I will create a larger area .

    My dad says, when the sun hits the Retina of the eye it causes them to lay the egg. That’s why there are less on cloudy days
