    do chickens square off like roosters?

    My 2 chicks, now 15 weeks old have started to "square off". The feathers on their neck flare up, and they go nose to nose. My husband says hens do this as well as roosters. I say we have two more roosters than we thought. What do you say?

    Please disregard this post. I am going to KILL my husband. The egg was a fake & he only had the guts to tell me 3 days later!!!!!!!!!!!!

    deformed egg that won't break

    I have a chicken that has been laying normally. Today, however, the egg was very light in color, light in weight & WILL NOT CRACK. You can throw it on the pavement and it won't break. Has anyone ever had this happen before?
