    Flipping them upside down depending on the length of time is a personal choice. It is not dangerous for short periods of time. But no longer than 10 or so seconds. I've had chickens around 27 years and never have I lost one because I flipped it Upside down.

    If you are able, and she is still asperating, you could flip her upside down and message her chest. This might cause the liquid to come out and cause less breathing restriction. I've had this happen a few times and this tends to help. Hope it goes well.

    If you were to add a small amount of tuna juice to their water that may help rehydrate and re-"nutrientize" them long enough for you to figure out what's wrong. They may not be dehydrated but they are losing nutrients and electrolytes causing lethargy
