This came from an Easter egger I just got. She has not laid an egg since I got her 2 weeks ago until we got this today. She is 5 months old. Never had a fart egg before was wondering if I just did.

Hey Everyone! Does anyone have Light Brahmas? My two are 24 weeks old and still no eggs. I am 99.9% sure they are pullets but I am a chicken newbie so maybe I'm wrong. Should they be laying by now if they are girls? Do you see any signs they might be roos? Maybe, I just need to be more patient...

Here are some pics of mine. They are Black Stars from McMurray's hatchery. I don't know what Black Australorps look like so maybe the other poster is correct. It is hard to see in the pictures but the feathers are irridescent green in the sunlight, very pretty.

I am a newbie but the hens look like Black Stars (a sex link chicken) cross between Barred Rock and RIR look them up at McMurrays-they are egg laying machines. Brown medium to large eggs. Hope this helps. I have two of them also.
