it ended up going really well! We had 12 eggs and only 3 of them didn’t hatch. I was expecting that would happen. One died in the brooder but she was also the runt. We also got some IFA chicks and only one of them died. Now we have 10 happy, healthy chickens running around!

I hatched my chicks around 70% in humidity and they did very well.

yes she is very weak. she is at the point where she can’t stand up anymore. I will keep trying but i’m mostly thinking she is not going to make it through the night. i don’t have poultry cell or nutri drench. i can try the egg thing

My baby silver laced wyandotte is sick and i need some advice! i have removed her from the other chicks and have given her sugar water every ten min. or so. I just need some more advice to see if i can save her life!

I figured out that today is actually day 21. I counted wrong. yes The temp is around 99.5. Another egg is even starting to zip!

alright!! i have good news!! 😄 I just went down to candle them and listen to them. 2 of the eggs are starting to pip!!! (external) do you think i should still candle them/listen to them?

yes i set them on saturday. I do have a meat thermometer so maybe i’ll try that. thank you for all your advice! i’ll give updates!

yes. I candled them the 4th day, 12th day, and the 15th day. out of 12, 10 look fertile

I have 12 eggs and the last time i candled them was in March 18th. out of the 12, 10 looked really healthy and were moving.

My temperature is 99.3 right now
