I have two momma’s outside that are sitting on eggs. One momma has just hatched 2 and 3rd one is breaking through. Should I leave them outside under her or move them to my incubator to dry off? Then I’ve got a cage in the garage with a light my other 6 babies I hatched in the incubator are...
Here’s my babies. Lost 5 of them🥲. They were fully developed but when i cracked the shell two of them didn’t have an air sac and the others were cold as ice inside. So not sure what happened. I’ve got 2 hens outside sitting on eggs ones got 9 then other has 11. So we’ll see what they do...
Garage isn’t insulated but we’ve got the heat lamp on them and a cardboard box laying flat on the top along with stuff on the sides. They have been doing great outside running around and I saw them eating and drinking.
I’ve moved 3 to the garage under the heat lamp with food and water. The other 3 are still in the incubator. One hatched last night and two hatched today. Two eggs still in there.when I did the water this morning they both moved so still holding out for them two.
He’ll be out there by himself in our garage will that be ok? It’s turned off cold here today but I’ve got wood chips and a heat lamp for them in the garage in a dog kennel we’ve turned into their house till they can go to the bigger pen.
I have 6 hatched. I did the water test on the other 8 eggs and 4 of them didn’t do anything but float no wiggling and 4 floated and wiggled some so I’m waiting to see if those 4 hatch. The 4 that didn’t do anything I did a small hole and could tell that there was a baby but no movement. So i...
I’ve got another one that poked through. The little white one is out of her shell and walking around some. So when can I dispose of the eggs that haven’t hatched or anything? Should I do the water test to see if anything is in there. Friday at 7pm will be day 23. I put an x on the ones I candled...
The black one is up walking around. The white one is still the same way. I don’t have cornstarch. I’m in the United States. Do I need to pull some shell away from the white one around her head more? Another one has just pecked through its shell. I just see the beck.
Two have hatched but they’ve only got like their head showin and a bit of chest but nothing else. Been like this since about 9. Do I help them out of wait. Don’t want them to have the part out dry out.
If nothing happens can you make a small peck in the egg to get them started? I’d read somewhere that if they have trouble you can use tweezers to pull the shell back but not poke the inner part. Just wondering. Not doing this unless it’s ok but didn’t know. Didn’t know if it’d be like helping a...
I’m up. I’ve got my grandson here and he’s been throwing up so I’m not getting any sleep. He’s only 1. Just checked on the eggs and still nothing. Humidity is down to 69.
My humidity went up to 74 so I sucked out some water but it’s still at 73 now. Tonight is my 21st day so am I going to lose these babies or am I just worrying to much. Afraid to go to sleep because I don’t want them to die. This is so frustrating. My first batch I did a couple years ago i turned...

Humidity went to 74 so I just sucked a little out. Everything I’ve been reading said to keep it at 65-70 so I don’t wanna kill them. I’m just really worried. This is the 2nd time I’ve incubated any and last time I only had 3 hatch. But after 4 days when I discarded the left over eggs they...
