Early Bantam Brahman Comb Development, cockerel?

This is my 2-3 week old bantam brahman, i’m not exactly sure on the age because I got from my friend who got her as a straight run. It’s very early in the game I know but i am going crazy thinking she might be a cock, her comb development is too early imo for a bantam. It’s not red and her...

How much should I feed weak baby chick

I had this same problem except my chick had a leg deformity as well. I found this electrolyte supplement recipe if you want! As far as feeding times go, I don’t know your situation specifically but you’re really going to have to watch the chick, mine died in the night when I took a shift...

    Breed Standard?

Unfortunately he is my only BCM, I was planning on breeding him and one of my bantam Brahma when she gets older and do some line breeding since her feet are feathered. If you could help with my leghorn mix that would be great, she’s a mystery to me!

    Breed Standard?

I’d definitely be willing to have a more in depth conversation with you, I was checking today and his wings match up with what you’re describing but i’m a hundred percent on board with learning more!

    Breed Standard?

That’s what I was reading, I was wondering what people thought of his wings and if they match that :)

    Breed Standard?

This is my son Sparrow, he’s a (as far as i know) purebred FBCM and I’m having a hard time deciding if his wings would fit into the breed standard; as far as I know they should be straight black? Anything helps, thank y’all!

Hey all! What are some instances where you’ve had an ‘unfriendly’ breed of chicken and they turned out to be sweethearts?

    Angry Rooster

Earlier today I gave my chickens blueberries and my rooster (sparrow) got angry at the top hen for only eating them by stealing out of his mouth 🤣 this was then followed by wing flapping, charging, and a LONG CROWING SESSION. Just thought i’d share my over dramatic boy

Does anyone have an idea of what gender this bird may be?

WTBs tend to have large tails so this could easily be a pullet. Along with that, the feet are very thin and the feathers around the neck seem to be patterning like a pullet, i think it’s a girl.
