    Akitas are nice dogs! I considered that breed but decided against it for the same reason I didn’t get GSDs again, the hair!🙄 How does your Akita get along with your birds? My chicks are just over a week old and I’m concerned about my high prey drive dogs that kill anything that’s alive.🤨

    Hello! I am from the east end of Durham, Ontario near Lake Ontario. We live on a 23 acre farm and just bought 6 laying hens. I joined this forum to hopefully avoid any pitfalls but I know this is yet another adventure and I assume there will be many twists and turns. We shall see!
