    My chickens have moved into the upper level of my coop conversion and spent their first night last night. More of the work I’ve accomplished.

    I still have a little more work to do on the coop, going to add stairs for easier access to the top portion and add more hardware cloth over the top of run. Also need to add shutters to the windows. Chickens spent their first night in the upper part last night.

    Hey y’all, I’ve been reading this thread from the beginning, took me a couple of weeks. Thanks for all the great tips, suggestions and entertainment. I’m new to raising chickens and almost have my coop and run complete, I cheated a little bit in converting a kids play house into my coop.

    There is wood trim around all the windows, sandwiching the hardware cloth. All is attached with 1” staples from an air stapler.
