Still suffering jaw pain, after a month, and seeing two doctors and a dentist. I have cut the usual stuff i eat way back to cut out chewy or hard to chew items. I have been taking muscle relaxers or pain pills. But then i sleep most of the day. Today i decided to go out and put up more chicken wire around the flower garden, and pull more weeds. So, i was out there for a while, then it decided to rain. Sigh. Put the goats in the barn and went back into the house.
Boy you think they could figure it out in a month.
Sorry for the pain

Rule of twos....
Make it twice as big as you think you need, walk in....
Put in twice the amount of ventilation you think you need.
It will cost twice as much as you planned.
It will take twice as long to build as you thought it would.

If this is your first flock build coop first, then get chicks.
Since you built it bigger build in a in coop brooder/chicken jail.

Hey y’all, I’ve been reading this thread from the beginning, took me a couple of weeks. Thanks for all the great tips, suggestions and entertainment.
I’m new to raising chickens and almost have my coop and run complete, I cheated a little bit in converting a kids play house into my coop.

Very nice! I made 3 coops from the plastic playhouses, but they are too small for anything but tiny bantams.
