My hens are ageing and its time to replace them...i would really like to replace them with standard cochins...i would prefer to have blue, black, splash...but i would settle for a flock of the same color!!! IF anyone in Georgia has Cochins for sale please let me know
On wednesday i set out on an hour drive to go to the UGA poultry camp called avian adventures. It was the most spectacular camps i have ever been to and i great way to learn as much as possible about chickens. We did everything on chickens you could ever imagine. we got to do hands on surgery...

whenever i put baby chicks outside for the first couple of times i will watch them pick out and find every ant they can in the grass and gulp it down and it has never hurt any of them
if you know how to vent sex and you are sure you can do it go ahead and vent sex them.
if your selling them i wouldnt list that they were males unless someone asked.
