I can't imagine your pain. :(
They become family members, just like our own children.
Hopefully Leo will recover...it is tough to see a loved one in pain!
:thumbsupWe are "experts" in goslings, but very "green" :idunnoon ducklings. But after months of research,I saw someone's advice on gravity dog waterer. It is by far the best for 🪿and 🦆.
I opted for a small one for more frequent water changes, because we have learned that goslings are the slobs...
🪿🪿My daughter got 2 buff goslings and they are adorable, not only because I absolutely love geese, but they are much more docile than the pilgrims I have.
She also got 3 buff "stooges" ducklings, that are very funny but unfortunately very dependent on the goslings...it will be interesting in...
I got traps everywhere, it worked some but after after 10 rodents trapped within 7 days, they learned how to by pass it. I don't use poison because it will kill hawks or other in the upper level of the food chain.
BEST THING THAT WE HAVE ARE KING SNAKE🐍 (not this color, :D) AND RAT SNAKE. They...
They are very smart but they don't have selective taste buds. They love anything shiny and colorful and different, but if I offer a healthy new fruit or veggie they hesitate to try it:hmm
I bet you have a treasure chest from their gizzard. You should collect to teach us pet owners how dangerous...
They are dogs wearing feathers and I still couldn't teach them to poop/pee on demand. Otherwise, they are so much fun and so loyal, sometimes too much...they literally pop your bubble/personal space😆.
I got 2 supposely "pilgrims", 1 gander and 1 goose, but I believe they are 2 ganders. 1 is...
Wait until they "inhale" plastic glove, a piece of box tape like slurping spaghetti🍝
I can't believe they can digest all the garbage that I witness (I don't want to guess what I haven't:hmm). Surely, I worry about them for 48 hours after their "gourmet" meal:fl
I have 2 2year old pilgrims that I learned how to raise thanks to you all here.
They are so lovable and a "bit" possessive. No other pets can be around me. My goose is so clever, sweet kind eyes, but she is always scheming the next step: how to get to the front porch, swiftly and...
My gander had issues early in life with "something" causing watery stools. I bought corid but I didn't want to "poison" them, they are precious for me. Last winter, I was scrambling to give some green stuff. I read somewhere that alfalfa helps with probiotic properties in their guts. I've been...
I got Salmon Faverolle 1 Rooster and 4 hens, aka bearded ladies, cute fluffy feathers under their eyes. We got them as chicks . They’re very friendly, smart and chatty. I won’t eat them, but they’re meat and layer breed. I was “attracted” by their rooster's color and friendly personality. Please...
We have 2 Pilgrims thriving beautifully on Kalmbach waterfowl maintenance. We tried Mazuri but it caused diarrhea on our gander and nutrena that neither one didn’t like the taste.
We can’t find a solution for stubbornness, though :he
They’re one of the best pets we ever owned! :love
