    Update! Here are pics of chicks 1 and 3. Chick 2 died about a week ago for reasons I dont know. It appears chick 1 is a runt and Im leaning towards male on, but chick 3 I'm on the fence about, although Im also leaning male. I believe today they are exactly 2 weeks old. Any thoughts?

    You're correct, they are sexlinked, but I was hoping since they aren't barred that the barred hen to non barred rooster would come in to play.

I know a barred hen and non barred rooster make sexable chicks at hatching, but I can't figure these out, possibly because the rooster is white. There are 2 pics each of the 3 chicks.

    There are other cockerals in this hatch that have red waddles and combs. However, my flock is pretty inconsistent as far as these traits go due to so many different breeds and crossbreeds.

    🚨 New development in the case..... I just had another dark chipmunk hatch from a blue egg, which means it's neither of the hens I thought! Now I think it's from a blue hen that is from a Splash Marans rooster and a Silver Leghorn hen. Silver Leghorn would explain the duckwing, I guess.

    I'm not sure how to explain this one then. It sure looks like a barred male with that dot on its head. I know it's maternal grandmother was barred.

    Now that I think about it, my Speckled Sussex were chipmunk, and of course they're not barred.
