Hi Billie Jo. I think it just because, she is a different size and looks different. If you get another silkie for a mate/friend, it will probably get picked on next. Because its new. (Even if the new silkie is the same size) I think , eventually, she will make her own place in the group. She...
Hi wilde. Wow , sounds like she is the rooster. She doesn't have saddle feathers? Anyway, Give the picked on rooster extra food/treats. It might give him the chance to pass her in growth mentally ,and, physically. I hope he does ok.

Hi, GG. If you can't bring them grass from the yard you could buy some salad veggies. I feel if you put the straw in the run the tractor will be even harder to move. If you keep it there putting more straw in will be ok.
Sorry for your loss soaring. Weasels break in the best, they, flatten out like cats and mice. Our best friend is hardware cloth ( rabbit wire) That will fix him.
Yeah, theres not much in the chicken friendly pesticide catagory. I have to put on deep woods off when i grind corn. I spray the palms of my hands real good and then wipe it on my face. Forehead , nose, and cheeks. Spray, again, get my ears all over.
