The one Roo that was crowing is now living a couple doors down and we can still hear him all day, maybe that is why the others are still not making a peep! Fine with me.

I have 4 roosters, 2 silver laced Cochins & 2 Buff Brahmas that have not crowed at all. Are these 2 breeds late bloomers or do they not crow?? All are a little over 4 months old. The hens we got at the same time are just starting to lay.

We have 3 total that look to be the same breed, 2 have darker coloring that the other. We ordered Araucana and this is what we recieved.

So if you have a bunch of roosters only the one that is the king of the hill crows??

If we have more than one rooster will only one crow or will they all start crowing?? Right now only one is crowing and we think there is more than one in this last batch we got.

Move in day! Today we finished the condo coop to the point we could move the older hens and the chicks in. Taking 6 days to vacation in the sun with lots of cold beer with friends and awesome music. 50# feeder and rain collection watering system when we return.

Well AH got more done today while I was away! wiring is done Both feed doors are done, doors to roosting area are done jobsite is cleaned up and ready for backyard, front man & chicken gates, dividers & feeders to hold 50# of food....oh and gutters to collect rain water for new watering...

Yup, 2 sided coop, will divide in half but build in doors between so later on it can ge one big coop. My Daughter is going to keep her baby's for showing in one side, all the other get the other half and the Roo's get the old coop until they get adopted out or made into soup. Than we have our...
