    At one time the dog was used for dinner in China! I think that is why it's name became Chow Chow. The English speaking sailors called the dog Chow because they couldn't say the Chinese name.

    We stayed in, didn't feel like working....... We decided to watch old movies. I brought the VCR and tapes in from our truckcamper. I made 2 bowls of Popcorn. Watched a bunch of 007 with Sean Connery as James Bond, ate Popcorn and crocheted.

    I made this on for my daughter who is a Paramedic. The graphghan took me a little over 5 months to finish. It was 74"x47". I put it on the floor and got up on a step ladder to take the photo. It was all sc.

    I use Red Heart yarn. I put my afghan in by itself, normal wash. Then I dry it in the dryer on the knit setting with three dry bath towels.

    I remember the Catholic school fire in the late 1950's. Nuns and students died in the fire because they couldn't get out due to wooden stair cases. After it happened my elementary school was condemned because it had wooded stairs.

    It didn't have a lunar landing. I'm sure it had to go around the moon and head for home. I think they used the Luna lander to get them home.
