Are these eggs alive?

These eggs look like they died pretty recently. Embryos at this age should be very active with lots of movement so if you see a dark blob just floating around that is not a good sign. At this stage of incubation, you may not see a blood ring like you would in the earlier stages. Instead, the veins will start to recede and deteriorate and form clots around the egg. I also tend to notice dead eggs will have an off color when candled. I think more orange-y? Not quite sure how to describe it.
I candled them again and I agree with your assessment. Bummer but fingers crossed some of the others hatch. Thank you.

I might be able to see the faintest single vein in #1 but if so, it's tiny. You're saying there are veins on the side of the egg not pictured?

Because those eggs look like they probably died recently.
I just double checked those eggs and I agree with you, I am thinking they died not long ago because the webbing of veins I see in the other ones has really receded. Thanks for your help.

My broody hen sat on 11 eggs. She hatched out 7 chicks. She pushed the 4 unhatched out of the nest. I put the discarded eggs into my waiting incubator. The next evening there was 2 little guys fluffing up in the incubator. I gave them to the hen the next night when she was sleeping.
It was stated earlier, you've come this far with them, if they are not cracked and they don't skink keep going.
