yeah they tried containing my geese by making some wood fences which were movable to enclose them. earlier they also tried containing them with a net tied with string but the geese knew that they could attack the string and they escaped. if i get geese again i will try containing them like earlier
now if you remember me. i lost all 3 of my geese but i want to buy more. (also some ducks because i have 2 females now) and im wondering how to make geese friendlier or less aggressive? should i only buy females? im not looking to have more geese so i wont be getting ganders also they are...
thats a muscovy? so that means they arent mating? when i bought them they were all in the same cage. and also we do give them like a container of water so they can play a bit
ill try. but heres the difference between them. the drake has longer legs and like a pinkish beak. the female has shorter legs and an orange beak. the female goes like QUACK when she sees me. and the drake goes like bul bul bul bul when i get near or hes near the rooster (they are really good...
Do drakes also sit on nests? i saw mine sitting on the nest yesterday instead of the duck (i assume he is a drake because he is way quieter than the duck. like a whispery noise all the time). any replies greatly appreciated

ok another update. i tried making scrambled eggs with duck eggs and im pretty sure they are fertilized since i see the germinal disc is kind of wide. also no idea what that blood or whatever it is means there.
my mom's plan is: to buy an incubator and incubate bought fertilized eggs. then give them to the ducks to take care of (i will raise them for like the first week or more by myself)
and also i assume they are duck egg because they are slightly larger than chicken eggs. and one was laid in the middle of the coop and the other in a corner. also the eggs looke almost fake. like smooth plastic look. so i should just buy them a drake instead of eggs? also. does the drake have to...
ok the ducks (female and female because ive had them for over 9 and a half months and no drake feathers) laid 2 eggs. will they sit on other eggs? like if i buy eggs for hatching from someone will they sit on them and hatch it
ok some pretty funny news. the i assume male duck really loves running now. and he is pretty good friends with the rooster. he recently has been following the rooster and quacking in his silly way. also the female is still limping, but she has that for months now. i remember when the duck got...
my grandma just came here and told me she died because she put her head between the fence (we have like a fence so they get locked behind the house) and the ducks can go under that fence but the goose tried sticking her head in there for some reason and she suffocated
the last goose has unfortunately passed away today. now there are only the 2 ducks (which i hope are male and female). i was assuming they would be quacking loudly like they got lost which they used to do. but they just quack normally and stay together as always
here are the only ones left. the 1 goose and the 2 ducks which i assume are male and female from the way they sound. i hope they can breed and i get more ducks
my grandma told me the gander died from a heart attack. she said they have so much fat their hearts stop working. on the other side the ducks are very lively and healthy. the goose keeps crying tho
i feel like they are eating less. and from time to time i hear the goose screaming. i go to them and instead of hissing at me and coming up to me they just stare.
