    I just noticed my chickens feet and leg has red on them. It’s in between their toes and up their legs. Today is our first day with snow if that has anything to do with it. Any help is appreciated.

    I’ve done that, soaks and wraps, and scab removal. Never any puss or kernel and it always comes back. Thats why I’m thinking of going the vet route.

    Yea, I found one. 140 just to be seen, but if something is wrong I don’t want them suffering.

    No, they just have the scab on the bottom of their foot. One did have a limp with a giant scab, but we removed it and she stopped limping. It came back but not as large and no more limping.

    I have done everything and can not get rid of the Bumblefoot. 4 of my chickens have it and have had for months, I don’t know what to do anymore. What can a vet do to help? Anyone ever go to a vet for it?

    Thank you, I’ll give the sugardine a try since I’ve already tried tricide neo. I have 3 chickens with Bumblefoot right now. I just don’t know why they are getting it.

    Their bedding in the coop is pine shavings, the roost is 2x4 and 18 inches tall. The run is sand with stumps and branches to roost on.

    after removing the scab it is pink healthy tissue. I cannot find any kernel in there and the foot is not hot. I have looked into why they are getting Bumblefoot but cannot find the reason.

    I have multiple chickens with Bumblefoot scabs, but that’s all they have. No swelling, no kernel or puss. I have removed them but they keep coming back, I don’t know what to do at this point.

    I will get pictures shortly. I do betadine and neosporin after and wrap. They are Wyandottes, their roost is 2 feet high with pine shavings in the coop, and sand in the run.

    Bumblefoot scab coming off on own, do I leave it?

    I have a chicken with Bumblefoot, I checked her today and the scab is coming off on its own, like it’s healing. Should I remove it or leave it alone? I just started treating her and another with tricide neo today as well.

    Tricide Neo For Bumblefoot

    I just purchased tricide neo and plan to use it for stubborn Bumblefoot. Has anyone used it, did you remove the scab first before soaking? Anyone have any experience with it?
