Bumblefoot scabs won’t go away

Bumblefoot infection is usually staph, and it can be tough to get rid of sometimes. You have to get it really cleaned out, sometimes multiple times, until it starts healing. Sometimes the shallow ones seem like they take longer than the big deep ones. I would soak the feet, remove the scabs, flush it out really well with diluted chlorhexidine (hibiclens), and then put some sugardine on it thickly, and wrap. I will attach a link that explains it better. It's easy to get/make, and in expensive. I would reapply and re wrap daily until you see improvement, and then you can go to every other or every third day as it needs based on how it looks. It may take some time, it can be a slow process. It's good there is no swelling or limping, but those are large enough that I would treat them before they become that.

Thank you, I’ll give the sugardine a try since I’ve already tried tricide neo. I have 3 chickens with Bumblefoot right now. I just don’t know why they are getting it.
