    Chicken going downhill quick

The only treats is kitchen scraps, and what she finds while free ranging. Shes only been fluffed like that since she got hurt so I assume it’s possibly a pain response. None of the other chickens she’s lived with have any problems and look heathy.

    Chicken going downhill quick

Unfortunately no. And the rooster leave the young ones alone because they have all the older hens. It is possible, I just haven’t seen the roosters jumping on the little ones.

    Chicken going downhill quick

I’ve felt her leg and foot and nothing seems out of place. And there’s no swelling. Would you guess it’s high up in the leg? My tallest roost is 4 ft. But she always sleeps on the shorter ones

    Chicken going downhill quick

Hey everyone, I have this chicken I’m worried about. Yesterday morning she was fine, last night she was huddled and didn’t want to walk. The dark video is from last night. This morning I separated her from the rest and gave her Water with a multi vitamin and chick starter with an egg mixed in...

    Has anyone ever done this?

Maybe I should take a look. Since I just got this once it would just be really nice to convert it. Might be a good idea.

    Has anyone ever done this?

No one wants her and I feel bad just culling. The problem is, I’m at work so I grab any eggs that they’ve laid before I go but the rest sit till I get home after 6. Once I got this new nesting box, they have just been laying in there, not making nests on the ground anymore. Yes, I have thought...

    Has anyone ever done this?

It’s mostly for egg cleanliness and yes I do have an egg eater. She only eats the eggs when she is laying, which she isn’t at the moment, but I would prefer to have a roll away one for when she starts. At the moment, I have gray rubber pads in each box and I put straw in them as well, they kick...

    Has anyone ever done this?

So I got this nesting box secondhand and I’m curious if anyone has ever converted a nesting box like this into a roll away box. I would love a roll away box but I don’t have like $300 to drop on one. There are plates in the bottom of each box that remove so I could angle those so the eggs roll...

    Please help

I kept her separate from the other hens, but I just put a large wire dog kennel in the coop so she was still around chickens, but they weren’t stealing her food or dumping her water. I think that helped, along with the feed change and the extra vitamins. I would alternate between adding the B...
