The best way to introduce a dog to chickens??

I have a silver lab and she is very good now!!! I bought this dog from a breeder that had a long line of hunters. He was going to start the dog at 6 weeks for me but I told him not to, the genetics are very strong in these dogs but it can be done. I had 2 chocolates before her and you may loose...

    egg bound

Had the same thing happen to my little Seabrite. She made a lot of noise at first but I was able to get the egg moved out. What breed, and color?

Mille Fleur D' Uccle. I just love those little birds. I have 3, 2 hens and 1 roo and they are so sweet. My 1st hen was a rescue and has a great personality. :)Hi Bonnie, Welcome!! I am a new egg as well and have several different breeds. I live in Cedar City Ut and the EE's do very well for me. They are hardy and the snow does not seem to bother them. Beautiful large eggs and they lay longer into the fall than my others Enjoy Celeste

New to BYC and have learned so much. I had to deal with a retained egg in one of my little Seabrites and thanks to the info gathered here she is just fine. I look foward to logging on and have told all my chicken loving friends about BYC.
