    Good advice. After pipping for 48 hours the chick should have the yolk absorbed, I would definitely start helping. Zip around the egg, if that’s already done, start removing the shell, slowly.

    That’s a good deal. I gave my sister a bunch of pullets and a few roosters, when the roosters got big enough I butchered them for her, but I let her have all of them.

    I own 2 NR 360 and 1 maticoopx. I have had great hatches with all of them, it’s a toss up for which one I like the most, the maticoopx holds 8 more eggs and it was cheaper.

    I ordered speckled Sussex from Meyer hatchery, they arrived alive and healthy, one died about a week later, from what idk. I didn’t get any free ones.

    I have two NR 360 incubators, that hold 22 eggs each, I have great hatches when I have fertile eggs. I do the 100% dry hatch method, And I have had great harvest.

    Some came from young hens, and some I don’t know how well they were taken care of. The ones I got from my son who has older hens hatched the best.
