My oldest hen, about 2 years old has developed very thickly and unevenly scaly feet. They have uneven big scaly ridges which look like they would peel off if you tried, (but they are actually pretty stiff). The feet are dry, pale and and look flaky.

In the end I ordered a seed propagator online, it was supposed to come in 48hrs but due to postal delays it got here in about 4 days. So in all these eggs spent about 10 days on a TV reciever which was only about 25ºc, before they went in the propagator. Even when I got them...

Similar thing happened a my local community farm/petting zoo. They keep chickens and a couple ducks. But somehow a wild duck ended up laying some eggs but then dissappearing. Probably lost or dead. The staff put the eggs under one of their broody's and the hen hatched them and looked after them...
