That rooster is not from pure "game" stock...lol! You are probably pretty close with that description varidgerunner by the looks.

You won't find any quality orientals that aren't easy to handle. If you got OG that like to manfight, I can assure you that they aren't worth owning. As far as americans go, they tend to be much higher strung, and even with some very good lines you will never get them to mellow out, no matter...

First off, no matter the breed, it's never a good idea to have multiple broodies housed together. Single pen them and it will work fine. They won't all go broody "on time", but you will get better chicks than using an incubator, so it is worth it in the long run.

That's not a brazilian, it's an american game.

It IS illegal to bring eggs in the country from outside the country, no matter the method. There is only certain countries you can legally import fowl, but you have to go through a very expensive ordeal to do it. You absolutely can't bring eggs on a plane with you. If you got away with it...

No. That's way too much of a generalization. If you want to use that as an argument, you might as well say all domestic fowl are jungle fowl...

    Great Pyrenees Pups

Yes, the price is what it is. You will be hard pressed to find as good of chicken bred dog in this area for this price, and it's a small investment to protect your fowl if you have as much into them as I do lol. By the time they get old enough to let go, they will already have an huge start on...

    Great Pyrenees Pups

I am taking reservations for pure GP pups that were born almost 2 weeks ago. These don't have papers, but come from working stock, and will be raised on a chicken yard. They won't be available to pick up until they are 8 to 10 weeks old minimum, and I won't ship dogs so you will have to come...

    Kulang aseel or reza aseel?

No, the difference is the weight by definition, not height. Obviously a heavier bird may be taller, but not always, so you can't go by that.

To me, it IS black and white, and exactly why it is so difficult to breed gamefowl. Once a bird is fully mature, there is never any kind of excuse to not be game. If I had a sick bird on my yard, it wouldn't get the chance to see if it was game or not, as it would be culled out. Moult...

I appreciate your willingness to try to help fowlsessed, but this statement has many problems with it. What type of show fowl are bred for has nothing at all to do with gameness. As I keep saying, either they are game, or they are not. Asil are some of the oldest gamefowl out there. There...

Quote: You see friend, that is exactly why you don't understand gamefowl, or gameness period. Everything you stated goes in line with what you have been stating, a natural selection process. This is why they aren't game, and never will be game as in "gamefowl". There is no hierarchy in...

I'm sorry JShubin, you don't own gamefowl by your own description. You are welcome to your own opinions, and I have no problem with that, but they are not gamefowl, and nobody who is experienced with true gamefowl would call them gamefowl either, even if they look the part. The misconception...
