Has anyone experienced a pro chicken ordinance in place for one year, to be reviewed the following year for a permanent ordinance to be allowed or denied?

Is anyone willing to send a very kind email to my city...
I am running into the same situation here in Zumbrota MN. We have had 10 hens for several years now and someone snitched. I now have to present our case to city council and try to get an ordinance passed. Wish me luck and good luck to you!
I am looking for anyone in Zumbrota Minnesota that would like to have urban chickens. I am currently in contact with an individual that works at City Hall and he is in favor. However he cannot present it because he is not a resident of the city. Please message me if you are interested! Thanks!

Ive heard that its ok to give your chick warm water. We actually have a heated chick waterer. The base is heated and it has been working perfect. We had -17 temps last night in Minnesota. No frozen water. We bought the waterer at Fleet Farm- its a farm supply store in this area.
I went to a chicken class and the instructor said not to feed the chicks seedy foods like apples, grapes, etc. It evidently causes the seeds to stay in the gut and rot. I have given my girls zucchini, apples, watermelon, and other foods with seeds. Has anyone heard of this problem?
