    No. There isn’t an open wound, but there is a healed over one. It is one of the pictures. I thought his leg was just dirty at first till I noticed it was mostly healed. Idk if it just hurts him to use or if it’s internal injury.

    Today, tractor supply gave us a free 2 day old chick because its leg was injured and they couldn’t sell him. He doesn’t walk on the leg , but he hops to get around. He isn’t eating or drinking as much as I want him to. Any tips on what to do to heal him? I don’t think his leg is broken.

    I give my then crushed egg shells for calcium. I heard it’s really good, and it acts as a grit. But, I am starting to wonder if that’s enough.

    I have had my white Bresse chickens for 8-9 months, and idk if they should be laying yet. Maybe 10 months. Idk if they are not laying because it is still winter or because they don’t get enough calcium in there diet. If you have any tips on on laying chickens I would be happy to hear it.
