7 month old Silked egger sexing

Maybe not…Opal was yanking fairly hard on Klawdettes neck. Sigh wish she would either crow or lay an egg cause I really want a colorful egg and Opal is a Silked Egger and if it’s a he I’ll try for another colorful egg chicken. She has never crowed and the other 3 chickens lay eggs daily.

Unknown chick breed egg labeled BA

They don’t sell that breed, they do sell bantam Polish, maybe it’s a Polish chick? Smaller than the other 2 Serama chicks though.

Unknown chick breed egg labeled BA

Howdy everyone these 3 little cuties just hatched late last night. Should be 2 Seramas and I have no idea of the last one. Ordered 2 types of silkies and Seramas which were all labeled except one egg with BA on it. All the eggs were from Akers Farm, but only 4 made it to lock down 3 Serama and...

7 month old Silked egger sexing

Ok so Opal is about 7.5 months old, no crowing of any sort, occasionally bawk bawks and has been going in and out of the coop more lately….but in general Opal runs away from everything (even after I clipped her eye feathers) me, the other chickens, the wind and the leaves on the ground. She will...

    24 week old Silkie sexing

Howdy everyone been a few months and I would like to try another guess at the sex. This 24.5 week old chicken is very sweet, the smallest and comes over when I call, other than some cute general chicken noises I haven’t heard any crowing or bawks.

Not the best photos, but at some point I get tired of running around the cage and just used the camera inside.

7 week old Silkie sex guessing

Yes I did get it sexed, but even that isn’t a guarantee. I was worried about the head feathers becoming streamers. Also have a white Silked Egger and she is almost twice the size, but has a nicely rounded head and small comb.

Keter Potting Shed for a coop

Just trying to think outside the box, but I don’t like the tiny house like coop I have. It’s so hard to clean and the pull out tray gets stuck… I want something I can walk into and clean properly. And it seems because I can not build anything on my own without it being way more money and...

10 week old Easter Eggers-pullet or roo?

Well they don’t have red in the shoulders, that’s the only male patterning I know of with them, but I am NOT AN EXPERT of any kind, I just like chickens.
