I’m not sure what it was but I gave her, her food in a mash mixed in olive oil in a syringe and mashed banana and she woke up day three with her tail up and perky ready to eat. She still had runny poop but I continued to give her a couple tablespoons plain yogurt mixed with calcium in her food...
I made her scrambled eggs she took a couple bites, she drinking water but not eating much. Had a few bites of banana. Her crop this morning was almost empty it was not swishy. I’ll try more food options tomorrow. Thank you!
Yesterday my 8 month old hen isn't acting like he self. She came out of the coop and stayed by herself most the day yesterday. Tail and head down. I don’t think she has been laying because I haven’t seen an egg of her color. There was a yolk on the poop board but no she’ll, only a piece of a...
I believe it has to be from just 1 as everyone laid today but 1. The soft egg and those piles are at the end of the poop board that the chickens normally don’t roost on. They all roost at the other end for the most part. Theyeat organic layer feed and have oyster shell in a bowl free choice.
I have 12 hens 7 months old. They have been laying pretty much 10-12 eggs every day since July. The last couple days I’ve had 9 or 10, today 11, but with the soft egg. Today there were 3 piles on my poop board this morning. And a broken soft egg. One pile looked like a tiny egg when I scraped it...
My girl has had an ear infection for months. I have been putting the peroxide drops in her ear, cleaning it out following up with the Neosporin this afternoon. She started breathing different and having making little noises how do I attach a video if anybody can help, please let me know what to do.
Do your chickens eat The PDZ? And does it hurt them? I’ve used it twice and all 12 of my chickens eat it. They have a feeder full of grit but hardly touch it.
We bought these two reddish chicks at 24 hrs old. They are 10 weeks old tomorrow. We were told they were Buff orpington. They are not getting fluffy like the pictures of the Orpington.,we are thinking they might be ISA brown.
We are new to raising chickens we got ours at 48 hours old, we have 12. They are spoiled rotten but they are awesome. Wish I would’ve started this long ago. I’ve had a lot of my questions answered here already before I joined.
Has anyone seen this before? It looks worse in the picture than it does in person, but it looks like she has a bruise on her nose. Looks like it may have been pecked by another one of our chicks. Chick pea is 7 weeks old.
