This morning this girl sounded like she was purring. Now sounds like she’s gasping. Making constant noice. No mucus or anything coming out of her nose or mouth. Is there any way to add a video?
She eating and drinking and acting normal except this. She laid an egg this morning. she has normal poop.
She is 1 of 12 hens just turning a year old on the 24th of February. No other chickens have any symptoms.

This sounds a bit similar to a hen I had brought in the house the other day. It was stridor, which is a fancy word for something stuck in their airway.

In our case, within 18 hours, she was over it, so she must've coughed it out, or it just dissolved or went down.

You can try to take a flashlight and look down her throat, but I couldn't see anything in mine. You could try feeding her a piece of bread.

If it doesn't clear up, it could be a respiratory infection. I'd put her on vitamins like Poultry Cell in her water, but she may need an antibiotic. If that's the case, if you don't have a vet, there are places to get them online:

Thank you! I posted on another site and someone said the same thing something stuck in her windpipe. She is fine now but it took about 30 hrs before it was completely gone. She was much better after 18 hrs.
