No…but we give her water through a syringe at intervals. I could put up a little waterer, though.
I just didn’t want her to accidentally fall in and get stuck there. (When she was still not in the sling)
I couldn’t cut two holes in the sock for her feet, since we did the bandage like for splayed legs.
We just did one bigger hole, and stuck both of her feet through there.
We wrapped her up again. We did it around her hips, over her wings/back, and around her hips again.
We also put her in a glass cup, (that was the smallest we had at the moment) and lightly put some gauze around her and the cup, to prevent her from jumping out.
We also did the leg bandage like...
Hi again.
Thank you all for the replies. I will try to wrap her legs higher up, and probably try again with a cup or glass.
We put her hip back in place again, then wrapped the gauze around her hip and lower body, which seemed to work, but she got it off after a few hours.
She’s really active...
I could definitely try that. I just don’t know if the wrap around the legs is going to keep the hip itself in place.
I also tried to put her in a cup/sling, and she was trying to get out of it all the time that she was there.
Hi!
I have a day old chick, and I think it has a slipped tendon. Her leg is always backwards, and she has trouble moving around.
Could you please tell me how exactly did you insert the pin, (exactly at which angle) and how long did you keep it there?
I might try this today, since I want to...

Hi! I need help concerning the chick on the left. She is a day old, and she has her leg back. She can sit like a normal chick if you pick her up and put her in your hand, but when you put her down, her leg keeps going backwards. She also has trouble moving around.
I have no idea what this is...
