Is anyone planning their garden for this year and is having trouble on how to grow the sweetcorn because i am and need help. I keep hearing that if you plant types of corn together the cross pollination will make them go bad . If anyoune has some insight on this I'd love to hear it.
I finally got a dozen out of my 17 pullets today im so happy. But i almost feel bad aren't they suppose to be waiting to lay to longer daylight hours and warmer weather?
does anyone know where to get ferrets in central illinois besides petco. ive also looked at paws but i dont think they have any. i would really want a couple but i dont want to pay an arm and a leg for them. please help me im desperate
My leghorns are shy and skittish but i still love them and they are also beautiful. They were a week younger than the rest of my flock of sex links and they began to lay earlier so im very happy with this breed.
So im happy to say that so far since saturday i have gotten 9 eggs from three of my girls who have just started to lay! I'm so proud of them to say the least! Has anyone else had the chicken santa visit early?
